Part-Time Shop Associate

We are looking for a flexible, friendly, and reliable person to join our small, independent gift shop team. The position is for one day a week, Thursday, as well as coverage on occasional Saturdays, plus coverage 3-4 times a year as needed for up to a week at a time. In addition, applicant will be needed for ad hoc events such as inventory, summer sale, holiday set-up,etc.

Responsibilites:

• Welcoming and assisting customers.
• Running the register and processing sales.
• Restocking and merchandising.
• Keeping the shop tidy and organized.
• Able to work independently when needed

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Flexible with the schedule and additional shifts when needed.
• Friendly and comfortable talking with customers.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Able to work independently.
• Aligned with our outreach mission, and able to maintain that positive outlook with our customers.
